Kingsford sits next to a university, and it shows in who walks through the door. Students before exams, researchers who cannot switch off, people in their twenties who started vaping to stop smoking and now cannot stop either. Genie sees a lot of people from this stretch of Anzac Parade, and the work is usually about performance under pressure rather than anything clinical.
The clinic is at 97 Avoca Street, Randwick — two kilometres from the Kingsford Nine Ways, and about six minutes by car. From the UNSW campus it is closer still. Buses run up and down Anzac Parade constantly and the light rail stops at UNSW High Street, a short walk from Avoca Street.
If you are coming between classes, online sessions are often simpler than crossing Randwick twice — and they work just as well. Genie keeps some early-evening times for people who cannot get away during the day.

Yes. Exams, interviews, presenting and performing under pressure are one of the areas Genie works in most. It is rarely about the material — it is what happens to you under observation.

I had a few mental blocks around public speaking and talking on camera and thanks to Genie at Key Hypnotherapy I've been able to mostly overcome them and still working on it. What's great is she provides the recorded audio of the sessions, enabling me to listen every time I feel the need. I will be back to work on insomnia. She's also super welcoming and genuine.

Genie Pepper has run her clinical hypnotherapy practice in Randwick for years and sees clients from right across the eastern suburbs — Kingsford included — as well as online. Sessions are tailored to you, in a quiet room, and most people find them deeply relaxing whatever brought them in.
