Clovelly is one of the quieter corners of the eastern suburbs, and the people who come to Genie from it tend to arrive with the same thing: a life that works perfectly well from the outside and a mind that will not settle. The clinic is at 97 Avoca Street, Randwick — not in Clovelly, but close enough that most clients are in the chair within ten minutes of leaving home. It is a straight run up Clovelly Road, past the Royal Randwick Shopping Centre, and Avoca Street is the next main road across.
There is unmetered street parking on the surrounding streets and paid parking at Royal Randwick Shopping Centre a short walk away. Buses run along Clovelly Road and up Avoca Street from the Clovelly Beach end. If getting across is awkward — small children, no car, a working day that will not stretch — every session can be done online instead, and a good many are.
