What clients say

Eugenie is an absolutely stellar hypnotherapist and basically that's because she radiates an energy that allows people to be themselves and feel relaxed in a certain pleasant room that is homely and smells peaceful with the right sort of light for relaxation. As she guides you through your session you really can feel yourself sinking deeper and deeper into the couch and when you awake you feel refreshed and positive like a yellow warm light has passed over you.

Eugenie is extremely professional , very warm and kind but also great at directing you back to the objectives. Her generosity is remarkably and her ability to highlight the best in people is a gift. I’m not only blessed to have met her but to have her professional guidance is a privilege. I gained so much just in the first session and look forward to working with her moving forward to push through personal barriers and be my best self. I cannot recommend her more highly.

Questions people ask

Does gut-directed hypnotherapy work for IBS?

A Monash trial found gut-directed hypnotherapy comparable to the low FODMAP diet, and improvements lasted six months in 74% of the hypnotherapy group. Genie will talk you through what it does and does not do on the first call.

Do I have to change my diet?

Not for this work. It is on the gut-brain conversation — the tension that sets symptoms off, and the worry about what your gut might do next.

Is this instead of seeing my doctor?

No. It sits alongside whatever your doctor or specialist recommends, and anything medical stays with them.

Can sessions be online?

Yes. Every session Genie offers runs online as well as in the room at 97 Avoca Street, Randwick, and you can choose session by session rather than once at the start.
